NA brings home rowing hardware

North Allegheny student-athletes earned seven gold medals in the head of the Occoquan Regatta in Fairfax, Va., Saturday and Sunday. Senior captain (sic) Adam Reckless and sophomore (sic) Singen Elliot won individual gold medals in the men's novice and men's youth single scull categories.

 

In all, the Tigers brought home 17 medals, adding eight silvers and two bronze to go along with the golds. North Allegheny sent 24 boats to the event, all of which placed in the top 10. The Regatta, which closes out the fall rowing season, features east coast high school, college and club teams.
