NA Brings Home the Medals at Three Rivers Regatta

16 rowers from the optional NA
men’s and women’s summer sculling camps participated in the crew races held on
Sunday, July 4th as part of the annual Three Rivers Regatta at Point State
Park, downtown Pittsburgh. All 16 rowers came
home with medals.
The team competed in a combination of
1000-meter single, double and quad sprint events that finished before the large crowds
gathered in the grandstands lining the riverbank just above the Point. Despite the 90º heat, the women’s team
captured 6 medals and the men added 2 more for a very successful day on the water.
