NA Rowers Compete in Princeton Regatta

North Allegheny’s Tiger Rowers made their first appearance at the Lake Mercer Super Sprints/ISA Sculling Championships, held in Princeton, New Jersey on Saturday.  They joined 84 other teams from high schools and clubs across the Northeast in a full day of sweep and sculling events.  Despite the fierce competition and buffeting winds, they came home with 2 gold medals, 5 silver, and 9 other top-five finishes.   The NA women captured the William Fritz Girls' Octuple Trophy by their first place finish in that event.

 

The Tigers will next take on the best of the Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio rowing teams on Saturday May 7^th and Sunday May 8^th at the Pittsburgh Scholastic Sprints.  The event will be held at Lake Arthur, Moraine State Park and is free to all spectators.
