NA Rowers Take Top Spots at Head of the Ohio

Saturday, October 1, 2005

NA’s Tiger Rowers entered 23 boats in eight events at Pittsburgh’s own Head of the Ohio Regatta on Saturday and claimed at least one medal in every one of those races.  The Tigers picked up six first place, three second place and four third place finishes and all 23 NA boats clinched top-ten spots.

In the Men’s High School & Youth Singles event NA took not only the three medals spots but 4th place as well.

Head of the Ohio, in its 19th year, is a major fall rowing event that attracts over 90 teams from Eastern and Midwestern states for races at the high school, college and club levels.

The Tigers next travel to Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, October 29 for the Jack Speakmon Memorial Regatta.
